What a Shocker
My co-worker removed the top of a large tree. He was using a system of rigging, but the man on the ground allowed it to run too far. The tree’s tip ended up on a power line and its bottom wedged in the crotch another tree. This created a constant current of electricity. The situation was not too alarming at first, but then the worst case scenario occurred. The tree caught fire after the initial explosions of blue.
The climber was forced to remain at the top of a spar for two hours and breathe in smoke, as he didn’t want to risk being electrocuted. The fire department finally arrived, and the entire neighborhood was pitch black. Luckily, no one was hurt.
