Workplace horror stories told by disgruntled employees

Technology Isn’t That Scary

My boss, who was older than me, didn’t know how to use an Excel spreadsheet. After graduating from graduate school, I printed out some calculations he asked for and he freaked out because I hadn’t done them manually. In front of the entire office, he yelled at me. After that, he broke my waterglass by throwing it against a brick wall.

A coworker then looked over my work, and told me that everything was done correctly. After work, I applied for a job at the company where I have worked for seven years. I can handle a lot of trash, but not a boss who has the emotional capacity of an infant.
