Madeline thought about it and decided to try being a babysitter again. She hoped Benjamin would feel better if he was with someone who reminded of her. It was a complete failure. The next morning, this babysitter sent a short and nasty text message to announce her resignation. Madeline then asked Benjamin about his day. He shrugged once more, swearing to his stuffed animal he’d done nothing wrong.
