You’d be surprised at how many historical artifacts you can find by chance. Road workers were digging in China’s new passes when, during their work, they found the well preserved remains of an 700 year old woman who lived during the Ming Dynasty. The Ming Dynasty ruled China between 1368 and 1644.

According to her shape, she was of high status. She was enclosed in a tomb made from wood. From her face to shoes, the woman’s facial features have not deteriorated. This discovery has allowed anthropologists to gain a better understanding of the Ming Dynasty.

Indian Cobras are found in India as well as Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Pakistan. They can also be seen in Bhutan and Nepal. In India, the Naja-najais responsible for most of the snake bites. This very venomous serpent has a powerful, painful bite which can cause someone to go into respiratory failure quickly.

In 1953, the Indian Cobra was found in Missouri. From August to October, eleven of these reptiles made their way through Springfield’s streets. They kept residents alert. Residents fought off the snakes with hoes or whatever they had on hand. Thirty years after the incident, it was discovered that local pet store owners had released these snakes.
