The air pressure changed from landing and my toddler started crying. I did everything I knew to calm her down. Many people were unbuckling seatbelts to help. I finally filled up a cap of a water bottle with water, and let her drink it. She was not used to drinking this way, but I thought that the swallowing motion might help “pop” her eardrums.

She stopped crying as soon as she started drinking it.
