The Rowdy Rugrat
Some years ago, the child behind me was kicking my seat for seven hours. I decided to wait for him, hoping that he would eventually stop. Nope. After about an hour, I was unable to take it any longer. This was the first complaint I made to an air hostess in 10 years of regular flying. She apologized and asked my family to be quiet.
They stared at her without doing anything. As soon as she left, the little boy started to kick again. I could not take it any longer, so I turned around and shouted at the family: “Please stop him from doing that!” The father apologized, but it didn’t make any difference. The child kept on talking, so I finally called the flight attendant to ask if another seat was available due to the family behind me.
After a few moments, she returned and took me to first class. It was my first time in the luxury section. She kept apologizing and I asked her to stop because it wasn’t her fault.
