Guilt Trip City
My wife and I went to Mexico a few years back for a wedding. I saw a young woman getting quite flustered while at the ticket desk. She demanded a seat beside her husband. As we were boarding the plane, an attendant grabbed my wife and told her she needed to change seats. We laughed because we knew what was going on.
We were very flexible, and we are just excited about the trip. So we went along with it. The young woman and her husband sit down next to me as I am settling into my seat. She begins small talk by saying that the airlines were so rude and they had a hard time getting seats together. I casually said, “Yeah, I know that my wife was meant to be in your chair, but someone had a fit over it”.
