Semi-Fetal Position
When I was 21 years old, I had a glass of wine at an airport bar. I felt cool and hot. Welp. It turns out that I have low blood-pressure and it can drop dramatically when you don’t have enough sodium or eat. After I boarded the plane I took a short nap and woke up feeling clammy. I felt dizzy and my vision began to tunnel. I knew I had to vomit, go to the toilet or both.
While blindly navigating to the bathroom, I began releasing the most toxic gas. I sat in a semi-fetal stance on the toilet for a few minutes until I was able to see. After what seemed like an eternity, the man sitting next to my seat told the attendant that he believed I was dying. After another visit to the doctor, I decided to go back. I have to make sure I get enough salt into my body as soon as possible.
