Pushing the Call Bell
When I was a passenger on a flight from Melbourne to Gold Coast, I knew that there was some severe weather in Gold Coast and we would be flying through storms. We had to circle around the ocean 20 minutes before landing and flight attendants told to sit. Someone in front of me pressed their call button. It was obvious that there was no response.
They pushed it repeatedly. The FA finally got up on the speaker to say, “Look we’re having a rough land and cannot attend to your needs right now”. I heard this person say that they wanted to drink another and that the airline lost money.
