The Worst was Yet to Come
Around six years ago I was on a plane when I felt a tickle at the back of my throat. It wouldn’t leave, I would cough and cough until it went away. Ice chips helped, but I still couldn’t stop. It was horrible. The worst was still to come. The worst was yet to come.
I had a severe allergic reaction. On the plane, I didn’t realize that my throat was closing. The ice chips did help because they kept the swelling down. It’s strange that it’s never happened before, or since that time. I don’t know what I’m allergic to. It could happen again.
