His Outdated Mentality
My friend is a pilot who works for an American airline. During the flight, a passenger was rude and disrespectful towards the female flight attendants. One of the female flight attendants finally became fed up with him and confronted about half way through the flight. She asked what was his problem and how they could reach a compromise. His response was unimaginable.
He said, “In my culture, women are meant to be slaves of men”. Her reply was also unacceptable. She replied, “Well, in my culture, you’re a cab driver”. He then lost it and had to be restrained in his seat. The flight attendant was not punished because everyone thought that he had been disrespectful.
