14. He lived to tell the tale
My school had a kid who ran down the hall with his eyes shut, clipping his neck against the corner of a locker. This opened a large gash. The ambulance was able to get there quickly because our school is just a few blocks away from the fire station.
He was saved because the wound was mostly just flesh, but he was in a coma and lost dangerous amounts of blood for two days.
