21. Waste No Time
This is my freshman year in high school. The Seniors of that year were pranking each other with toilet paper, etc. This girl thought of a great prank to stand out…faking your own kidnapping. She hysterically told her friends and parents that she was kidnapped by a stranger in a truck one afternoon in May.
She told me, “she was afraid” and asked for help. Parents and friends acted immediately and notified the police. The Amber Alert was eventually issued. Later, she was tracked down and discovered that evening. It turned out that she was in the next town, hanging out with her best friend. She confessed, and was arrested immediately.
