The brightest stars of the ’80s: Would you recognize them today?

Melissa Sue Anderson, Living A Quiet Life

Melissa Sue Anderson became a star as a young child because of her part in the series Little House on the Prairie. She made a great deal of money from the series, which lasted seven years. But she was also recognized for her roles in movies like Happy Birthday to Me or Midnight Offerings.

Anderson, who is now 57, doesn’t do much acting anymore. She played her last part in The Con is On in 2018 Anderson is probably spending her time with Michael Sloan and her two kids, enjoying a quiet life.

Jeri Ryan is still pursuing new roles

Jeri is best known for her part in Star Trek: Voyager. In 2001, her performance earned her the Saturn Award. Ryan has been a consistent actor over the years. You may have seen her on Boston Public, Shark and Dark Skies.

It’s no surprise, then, that Ryan doesn’t plan to quit acting. Ryan began starring as Picard in Star Trek: Picard in early 2020. She also appeared in the MacGyver show. She spends her free time with husband Christophe Eme and their two children.
