The brightest stars of the ’80s: Would you recognize them today?

Ricky Schroder – Racing Enthusiast

Ricky Schroder worked his way to the top of business finance as a phone repairman. He decided, however, to follow his dream and become an actor. In 1980, he won the Golden Globe Award in recognition of his role in The Champ. Schroder is a car enthusiast and has used his passion to help raise money for the children’s health care needs through “Racing For Kids”. Ricky Schroder and his wife divorced in 2006 just before celebrating their 24-year wedding anniversary. The good news is they continue to fight child abuse.

Anthony Michael Hall Hot-Tempered

Anthony Michael Hall’s dream of becoming an actor came true after he was cast as a TV star in The Gold Bug. He achieved his greatest success in the film National Lampoon’s Vacation, which turned him into an A-list actor. Recently, he appeared in several films with low budgets, and this may have helped him avoid any debt (well, that is far-fetched because his net worth is $8 million). Hall allegedly has a bad relationship with his neighbor and was involved in numerous disputes. He got to a point where he became physically aggressive. Hall was required to hire a criminal lawyer after he had been charged by the district attorney with “assault causing serious bodily harm”.
