The brightest stars of the ’80s: Would you recognize them today?

C. Thomas Howell – Director, producer

C. Thomas Howell was a child rodeo champion. In 1983, he began his career as an actor in the epic teen film The Outsiders. He showed great talent and Hollywood was eager to have him back. His roles in movies like Grandview U.S.A.Red Dawn have been well-received. Francis Ford Coppola has been his collaborator on many occasions. He is now attempting to direct films. He studied drama at the National Conservatory Drama Arts but he could also take other classes , like online law courses.

Scott Baio – Slowed Down

Scott was nine when he decided he wanted a career as an actor. Scott was cast as Chachi in Happy Days. He was 16 at the time. He appeared in several television shows including Charles In Charge, which lasted six seasons. He decided later to concentrate on directing. His business was booming, but he couldn’t replicate his 1980s popularity. His career has definitely slowed dramatically.
