My dad is a shipping professional and has many friends who worked on super yachts. One of his friends was called up in the 90s to take the yacht of an Australian media tycoon millionaire from Sydney, to New York. The instructions were to anchor the yacht at a specific bay, and have a 50-person lunch ready.
They arrived and set up food. The guy never arrived. The reason for the delay is so absurd, it makes me sick.
All the food was bad, so they returned to Australia without ever seeing the tycoon.
