Not Made of Money
Most of our group of college undergrads drove cars worth less than $2,000 in college. He was a guy from a wealthy family and drove cars worth more than $200,000. He was telling us that so-and-so’s tires were bad and that so-and-so is irresponsible because he got a ticket due to a broken glass on the car he borrowed from his father.
The guy went on to say that all us college students who are broke need to fix our cars, because each repair is only $1. He said that these repairs were no big deal, because he had damaged a supercar for six figures and fixed it no problem. I said no, we do not all have spare parts and wheels for our cars.
