Playing too Hard
I was talking with this kid when we started discussing gaming. I asked him what happened when he told me that his PS4 had broken. He said that he was not sure and it didn’t work for him when he tried to play. He didn’t seem to be bothered. I was about find out the reason. He took out at least $700 in cash and said that his father gave him money for it.
I told him to at least check if the item could be repaired. He replied, “Nah. I’m going to replace it.” I always do”. It’s not his fault, since he was able to afford what he wanted when he was younger. But my parents would never buy me a new console the same day. They would tell me that I should pay at least $40 to have it checked before purchasing another console.
