Take a Bow
I used to be a bowling ball employee in this totally yuppie alley. It’s funny, but two people can get an hour and half of bowling with a pitcher for about $90. When I checked on a lane, a group of people was setting up. Two older, well-dressed white women were with two Asian girls aged six years old. Both were wearing fancy little kimonos.
I gave them a warm welcome and asked “Can I bring you a pitcher soda?” One of the women gave me a dirty glare and said: “You meant , you all.” I was shocked. I worry that the girls will grow up with an accent and I do not want them to learn bad grammar. She made them practice their ‘bows’ in front of me, and I was quite confused by everything.
