I was 21 years old and working as a bartender in a restaurant frequented primarily by yachties. One customer said: “Oh, you look like my daughter except that she’s in college.” They said that a career was important to her. Little did they realize, I had graduated the previous year and would be going to graduate school in the next year. I smiled and replied, “Wow!
