The Potting Shed

In the mountains, a client was on vacation in France when he saw a one-bedroom cottage with an earthen-roof in a village he stayed. The client thought the cottage was “cute and charming” and purchased it from the owner. Then they had it disassembled and loaded into sea containers before shipping to America.

It was completely disassembled when it arrived here. It looked just like it did when I was in France. The walls are made of stones that were picked up by a farmer from a field, and they’re now used as potting sheds. Each stone was numbered, and then reassembled in the same way as it used to be done in France.

If this is not “no thought given to money”, I don’t even know what it is.
