Rich people who are out of touch

MacBook Santa

I knew a friend whose parents were extremely wealthy. They were all incredible people. Another girl in my class was very nice, but she came from a low-income family and worked 60 hours a day for three months during the summer. He dropped her MacBook one day and my rich friend came to her aid.

He came over, gave her the MacBook and said that his parents would not care if he got a new one. Pure generosity. No social media chest-thumping was going on. He spent his parents’ money on things for others, and did so in a very helpful manner. He gave each of the boys in his class a graduation suit.

He told everyone he knew where to rent nice suits. We all went to the place and rented suits for about 100 euros each, including everything. We returned the suits and found that they had all been paid for by a guy. He thought renting a suite was stupid, but that buying a new suit would be expensive. We now had the best of both.

Last I heard, he purchased about 10 PS5s from scalpers and then sold them to children in the neighbourhood at retail price.
