The Storage Unit
A friend of mine called me at night and begged me to pick him up. I assumed he’d been mugged, or had some other incident. The real reason was ridiculous. He got into an argument because his parents bought him a space to store his childhood things.
He was upset because his parents had decided to sell the house and move to another country to retire. This meant that he’d have to decide what to keep or sell. After that night, I deleted his phone number and avoided him at any cost. He’s 29 and a man-baby. Work on your drama, dude.
