4. Home Alone
My cousins, siblings and I were all there (about 10 of us), while my parents and grandparents went out to eat. It was just the children watching some movies, when suddenly the house began to shake and a bright flash appeared in the backyard.
We all felt and saw the explosion, so we ran in a group into the hall. The oldest cousins debated whether to call the police, but decided to contact the parents. We gathered our courage after a few moments and went back into the living area, but this time we brought weapons with us (just in case).
After half an hour, with no other problems, our parents returned home and thought that we were crazy. The backyard was fine and no one reported any problems. We still talk about this ten years later, trying to determine what it was. It was the most terrifying thing that ever happened to me.
