Pawnshop owner is amazed when expert identifies boy’s grandmother’s book as a rare artifact

The ink faded

He couldn’t see any words because the ink was worn out. He could still see some of the pictures, but wasn’t certain what they meant. His grandma didn’t know much about the book. She told him that it had been handed down from generation to generation and was glad to give it to her grandson.

Illustrations

He was curious about the subject but did not know where to start. He could not read the writing on or in the book, so it was unlikely he would get very far. He was stubborn, so he kept going. He started with the illustrations, since they were still the most intact parts of the book.
