Summer
Tommy and his grandmother were enjoying the warm summer sun as they ate ice cream. He was asked to help his grandmother clean out her attic during mid-summer break. They found a number of interesting objects that they had not seen since Grandpa Glenn, Grandma Alice’s husband, died.
Attic cleaning
Grandma Alice could not climb the stairs, and she did not require any of the contents in the attic. Tommy was asked by Grandma Alice to assist her in cleaning out the attic. She was retiring after the summer. Grandma Alice’s summer vacation was over, and she had moved to a retirement facility. Tommy enjoyed spending time with Grandma Alice and learned much about her history. Grandma Alice told him many stories about what they found in the attic, but that wasn’t it.
