There Was Something Blocking the Way
Julian stood at the edge of his deck and stared down into the sea. He clasped both rails with his hands. He didn’t know what he saw, but a large object was floating under the boat.
He saw an odd movement when he locked his eyes. It was a creature. The creature was small, but large enough to slow their boat down. Julian’s heart started to pound.
