Checking your backpack
Samantha told Nicole to open her bag and show him that nothing was going on. She could then show him that nothing was moving inside.
Nicole, to her surprise did not respond to her commands. The little girl remained unmoved throughout the chaos.
Nicole is being difficult
Samantha would not have it. Samantha asked again and, when Nicole’s response remained unchanged, she walked up to the desk to open the backpack for herself.
Nicole did however finally react to this. Samantha saw the hesitation in Nicole’s eyes, but she finally put the backpack down on the table.
