Their fingers twitched in anticipation of action. Their eyes were filled with hope and reflected their desire for a peaceful solution.
Shield of Determination
Samantha stepped forward and placed herself between Nicole’s line of officers. She remained upright and unyielding as a human shield, protecting the vulnerable girl in front of her. Her body was a scream of defiance. She was ready to face anything.
