Backpack Mysteries
Her mind was awash with possibilities as she approached. What could possibly be in that bag? What could be inside that backpack? A weapon? Maybe something completely innocent that was misunderstood.
She was unable to sleep because of the uncertainty, but she was determined that she would find an answer. She was thrown into a whirlwind of speculations, which made her head spin. But clarity was only a few steps from now.
Cries of Caution
“Samantha, stop!” “Samantha, stop!” cried another teacher. You don’t even know what is inside! “Wait for the police!” Samantha was jolted out of her thoughts by their shouts, which pierced through the silence. She hesitated between her colleague’s pleas and her need to protect her student and to understand him.
Samantha was overwhelmed by the intensity of her situation, but she knew deep down that she must act. She could not let her fear stop her.
