In their excitement they neglected to check the radar, and their ship was soon sailing into danger. Autopilot was on, and the engine wasn’t running at full speed.
It was too late to create a plan of rescue when they realized what had happened.
A sudden stop
James heard a crunch, and then he realized that his ship had hit something under the surface of the water. This caused the sudden stop. All of them stood frozen and stared at one another in shock. They were all in disbelief. The crew’s behavior had been truly unprofessional, and had led to their current disaster.
