Rope
David was lucky to have brought rope along. Emily is told that the rope will hold David so that he can descend. He starts quickly tying the line to a nearby branch.
He quickly realized that the rope was too short.
Emily has doubts about David’s plans
David tells Emily there’s only one possible way. She must hold onto the rope as he descends. Emily hesitates. She feels that she’s not strong enough.
The rope must be tied around the waste. It could be very dangerous.
