Wolf stops attack
The wolf halts its attack just before it hits. Emily breathes a sigh of relief. David seems to be a relief to the wolf. The wolf turns again, indicating that Emily and David are to follow.
Emily is aware that they’re close.
David is shocked
David fell to the ground because he was shocked by this sudden attack. Slowly, he gets up to ask Emily what is happening. Emily tells her that she doesn’t know what is going on or the severity of the situation.
She urges him, however, to believe the wolf.
