Conservationists found the largest flower in the world while exploring a remote area of West Sumatra, Indonesia. This flower species is Rafflesia Tuan-mudaeand is known for the massive and elusive flowers that only bloom for a week at the end the plant’s lifespan.
The largest Rafflesia ever documented, this mammoth rose had a diameter measuring 3.6 feet. It is easy to identify as the flower has flesh-colored petal covered with white spots. The flower is also known as “corpse Flower” because it has a rotten smell.
