In the Footsteps of His Father
Tim was drawn to team sports without knowing his father’s legacy. He eventually earned a baseball scholarship at Northeast Louisiana University. Tim was injured during a baseball game, and had to abandon his dreams of becoming a professional. He was lucky to have picked up the guitar in college and had a similar career.
Cooking from the Heart
In an interview with Southern Living, Faith revealed how Tim tried to win her over at the start of their relationship. Faith revealed that “[Tim] had brought me chicken dumplings.” “[He] was at my house unannounced.” Tim said he also made cornbread. He knocked at my door and had homemade chicken dumplings. He knew that his effort to prepare these comfort foods would show how much he loved her.
