Pushing each other’s buttons
Tim and Faith seem to have an incredibly happy marriage. If you listen closely to their lyrics, it is clear that they do have some issues. Their duet begins, “I know you sometimes hate me/We spent most of our day together with you trying me change,” Faith said that she sometimes “like[s] to fight” and “know[s] what buttons to push.” This revelation was shocking for many. If [she] is a little mad, she can push those buttons hard.
Fighting with Faith
Arguments are inevitable in any relationship. Tim and Faith have arguments too, whether we like it or not. It’s not as bad-sounding as it may sound. They are not tearing each other down or making each other feel guilty. McGraw said that “the last argument we had, [he] did not load the dishwasher.” We bet Tim would have loaded the dishwasher when it was brought up again.
