Expanding the Brood
Many fans thought that by 1999, the couple would no longer focus on expanding their family. They had two careers to run and two children to raise. Faith and Tim surprised everyone when they announced their plans. Tim said to reporters that ideally, we would love five children. Naturally, when asked if he was interested in having a son he replied, “I’ve always wanted boys but I kind of want it to remain this way.” Keep having girls. “That way, I’ll always look good.”
Together We Tour
Before 2000, neither country star had ever headlined a joint tour. With their Soul2Soul Tour, they changed this and were accompanied with one of their daughters. They enjoyed touring together because they could split the profits, and did not have to spend time apart. Tim and Faith appeared to be in love all throughout the tour. However, rumors continued to circulate that the couple was about to separate.
