A man saved two little twins in the early 1990s. Years later, he is amazed at how they have repaid him.

The rescue

Marco’s upper leg was being reached by the water, which was slowly rising. He walked carefully towards the children while fighting the strong current. He finally reached the children, and pulled them into safety.

They were alive, shivering with fear and trembling. Marco wrapped the victims in a blanket, and waited until help arrived.
