5. The Plaza in New York City
Since 1907, this hotel has hosted a wide range of people from Hollywood and Broadway stars, industry titans, world leaders, and dignitaries. The Plaza was one of New York City’s most famous film locations by the turn of 21st century. Many scenes have been filmed here. From “North by Northwest”, in 1953, to ‘The Way We Were’ in 1973, and “The Great Gatsby”, in 2013, there are many examples. Suites and rooms are unique at the Plaza, with features such as exposed brick ceilings or decor reminiscent of the Jazz Age. The Rose Club, a restaurant that is renowned for its plush seating and luxurious cocktails, is also a feature of the hotel.
